These Terms govern your use of the Cortexa product line — including Cortexa Ads and Cortexa Create — operated by Perspecting ("Perspecting," "we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. This document is provided as a sensible starting point; before relying on it commercially we recommend a brief legal review.
1. Account
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You're responsible for safeguarding access to your account. Passwordless login means anyone with access to your email can sign in — keep your inbox secure.
2. The service
The Cortexa product line returns predictions about the comparative performance of ad creatives (Cortexa Ads) and short-form video (Cortexa Create). Predictions are probabilistic and may be wrong. We surface measured accuracy (currently 66.7% on a within-channel holdout) directly in the product; do not interpret predictions as guarantees of outcome.
3. Free tier and credits
The free tier is a lifetime hard cap. Paid tiers are 30-day rolling. Credits never expire and are non-refundable except as required by law. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of creatives you upload. You grant Perspecting a license, limited to what's required to run the prediction pipeline and (subject to your consent — see Privacy) improve the model. We delete uploaded assets 90 days after upload by default; you can delete them sooner from your account.
5. Acceptable use
Do not upload content you do not have rights to. Do not upload content that depicts minors in any commercial context, sexual content, or content that violates a third party's privacy. Perspecting may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. API and rate limits
The product includes plan-specific rate limits and ad-variant caps. We may adjust these to maintain capacity. We will not silently degrade prediction quality; if the model serving infra is constrained, you'll see a queue position rather than a lower-quality response.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or that the service will be error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perspecting's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim and (b) $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Changes
We may modify these Terms. We'll post the updated version and, for material changes, give 30 days' notice to active accounts. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
